Frequently asked questions
What do I need to use it?
Claude Code (included in Claude's paid plans), a computer with Node 20 or later and about 2 GB of free space. Mac recommended; on Windows and Linux everything works except the effects that cut out your silhouette (text behind you and background replacement).
Are there extra costs?
No. Everything runs on your computer: transcription is local and free, and there is no extra API to pay for. You only use your Claude plan.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You talk to Claude in plain language and it does the rest. If you like, there is an option with a video call to get it up and running.
Can a company use it?
The kit uses Remotion, which is free for individuals and companies of up to 3 people. Larger companies need a Remotion license.
